Our Kilim Cushion covers are handwoven on wooden looms, made entirely from wool yarn. The pattern of the tight weave renders the surface flat, and the cushion has a rustic wool feel. Handmade by artisan women in rural communities in northern Pakistan, this ancient weaving and pattern-making technique is a hot style statement for a lounge or bedroom space.
These colourful patterns make grand accent to a neutral interior palette.
Our weavers bring us three patterns in the 2022 collection, each having its own significance in this ancient Anatolian heritage.
The Ram's Horn motif is used a symbol of fertility, masculinity, and heroism.
The two Band Patterns are influenced by star patterns, symbolising happiness, and variations are used to express the weaver's mood through colour and pattern.
Unique Designs - One of a kind:
Each cushion is a unique artistic creation by the weaver, and while you will find consistency in identifying the Ram's Horn and Star/Braid as design elements, no two cushions are alike.

The back of the cushion cover has a horizontal zip to allow easy cushion insert fitting (22"x22" is ideal for a fluffy fill).
Please note this product does not include the cushion insert.
